Preamble

The evolution of scientific concepts and technological developments of the late 20th Century has created possibilities for studying subtle energies and their relationship to human systems. Understanding and facilitating the use of subtle energies, both for therapeutic purposes and for the study of human potential, may bring to consciousness a new awareness of the depths of the human psyche. A synthesis of psychology, psychophysiology, psychophysics, physics, and medicine can be the basis of an innovative science of the 21st Century. ISSSEEM was organized in order to bridge current and emerging energy-related disciplines so that this synthesis and the new paradigm emerging out of this synthesis can be encouraged.
